School Sport Houses
Sports houses play a crucial role in promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and a sense of belonging in our Madang International School community. They provide a platform for our students to engage in various sporting events and activities, fostering camaraderie, school spirit, and a strong sense of identity.
Our School Sports Houses are:
· Kapul (Cuscus) – Red House
· Tarangau (Eagle) – Yellow House
· Trausel (Turtle) – Blue House
· Palai (Lizard) – Green House
Through friendly rivalries and house competitions, students learn the value of collaboration, discipline, and determination, creating a vibrant and inclusive sports culture within our private school.
Students compete in annual Inter-House Competitions such as the:
· Cross-country Carnival (Term 1)
· Athletics Carnival (Term 2)
· Independence Games (Term 3)
· Fun Day Games (Term 4)
And also actively participate in the following inter-school tournaments;
· Madang Pikinini Basketball Tournament
· Schools Cricket Program
· Just Play Soccer
